The National INDIVISIBLE Coalition formed in 2016 and is made up of thousands of Indivisible chapters across the country, as a proactive, grassroots response to attacks on the rule of law and democratic norms and institutions with on-the-ground, volunteer-led, communities of people power.
Our local Indivisible chapter (Indivisible Elk Grove – Laguna) was formed in May 2025. Our mission is to defend the rule of law and democratic norms and institutions regardless of political affiliation. We accomplish this by sharing information with our members about current events and issues, while promoting civic engagement and voter turnout. We also support state legislation in defense of free speech, the environment and the civil rights of all people.
We are part of a nationwide coalition of groups that all follow the basic principles of civic engagement as set out in the Indivisible Guide, a document developed by former congressional staffers to teach people how to engage effectively with their elected officials.
Everyone working within the Indivisible Movement is a Volunteer. All are welcome.
Our meetings are held the first and third Saturday each month from 10 am to 11 am. To sign up, navigate to our Mobilize site.
